The wife and I visited wakefield farm 4/12/19-4/14/19 we enjoyed every moment of our stay. the room we stayed in (school house) was very comfortable and very relaxing. the pool was very refreshing although we didn't try the hot tub it was nice to have an option. breakfast was great with fresh eggs ready to go the and biscuits to go along with. scenery was beyond belief IMO the night sky lit up with stars it was definitely what me and my wife love when looking for a great weekend getaway we are definitely going to do this again might even make it apart of our anniversary all in all it is more than 5 star to me and my wife. thank you Susan & George for the great hospitality we will be returning for sure.

Country chic B&B outside of Brenham, Texas. Three to four houses that surround a pool, with some farm animals and small fields. When we visited, it was very quite and relaxing.

Wakefield Farms is absolutely lovely. It is far enough from 290 to feel like the middle of nowhere, yet easy to get to. We stayed here for New Year's Eve, and it was perfect. We stayed in both the Master Suite and the Parlor. We brought our own food and barely stepped outside for two days. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with an exceptionally comfy bed. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub, and the kitchen-in-a-wardrobe was charming. We would love to come back and see the other houses.

An absolutely great value! My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway, and we wanted to stay forever. It was our first B&B, and we enjoyed the elegant Parlor Suite, the farm atmosphere, the friendly animals, and the beautiful views of the countryside. Oh, and the pool was wonderful! You haven't lived until you float in a pool, staring up a the the clear blue sky, with only the sounds of purple martins singing and crickets chirping in the background. We will be back!
