I signed up for a year long membership. I needed to end my membership at the end of the term due to financial difficulties, so I scheduled my appointment for the last day of my membership. I received a call that day, and they said my therapist had to cancel. I explained to the front desk personnel that this is my last day of membership, and I couldn’t make it another time. They told me they had an appointment in the evening and suggested I should take it or it sounded like I’d risk losing my last appointment …so I said I’ll try. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the appointment. I called to speak to management to see what we could do. I explained the situation to the manager who consulted with the franchise owner. The manager relayed that the franchise owner wouldn’t honor my last session, even though their therapist was the one that canceled the original session…and the desk personnel told me taking a later same day appointment was basically my only option (without any regard to my schedule).

7/31/18 Update:
My issue has been resolved. The franchise owner reached out to me and arranged a meeting to hear out my complaint. He was quite pleasant and receptive to my feedback. He apologized, and explained that this issue shouldn't have progressed as far as it did, to which I agreed. Also, I came to realize he actually didn't know about my issue for over a week after it happened, which is an unfortunate communication error by management. I'm glad this issue was resolved, and in the process I was able to provide constructive feedback on customer service/communication practices. My confidence has been restored in Massage Envy, I would absolutely give them another try in the future.

For our first time here, it was one of the best. Teri and Niki are two great massuice that did an excellent job. Teri and Niki, thank you. We will be back!

Great group of massage therapists. Helpful front-office attendants. Only issue is everyone seems to know this is the BEST Massage Envy in San Antonio and so it's really difficult to get a massage scheduled and a complete nightmare to try to schedule two massages at once (especially if you have a preference on therapist). Still don't plan on changing locations though. They're worth the wait.
